Martingale's Quirky Question

Thanks for stopping by for the weekly Quirky Question—where questions are just for fun, your answers are always welcome, and you could win an eBook for free!

Purple Daze from Quilt Batik!Right: “Purple Daze” from Quilt Batik! by Cheryl Brown (40% off this week only).

Raise your hand if you’re a fabric collector. If your hand is up, perhaps you may have uttered something along the lines of “I will never make enough quilts in my lifetime…” upon surveying your stash. And if you’ve uttered those words, you may need to answer this week’s question:

Who will inherit your fabric stash when you’re gone?

(This question was inspired by Brenda, who answered our March 27 Quirky Question. Thanks for your question, Brenda!)

Post your answer in the comments before noon (PST) on Monday, April 29, for your chance to win. The winning comment will be posted on Wednesday, May 1, along with the next question. (Knitters, crocheters, and other crafters, answer with your own medium in mind!)

Last week’s Quirky Question was, “What part of quiltmaking brings you the most joy—and how often do you give yourself time to do it?” Here’s the winning response:

“I have thought and thought, but cannot separate one part of quilting from another. Planning makes me consider the cutting, which makes me think about the piecing, which makes me decide on the quilting, which just screams for me to do the binding so I can give it away. It is ALL joy!  :)”

Last week’s winning comment was written by Pat. Congratulations, Pat—look for an email about your free eBook.
