  • Lap quilts would make my heart beat faster watching my granddaughter pick them out and drape them around her shoulders as she becomes a princess. As she becomes weary watching her snuggle in my knee to rest . Then draping them across the aofa in anticipation for her next visit and wondering what that lap quilt will become in her imagination upon her next visit! In the meantime a cosy application to my knee as she has gone home for the day as I settle down with a good book to inspire my own creativity and imagine the next project I can undertake .
