  • I would prefer the Rock Solid book. I am more of a traditional quilter making scrap quilts from my stash but the modern quilt movement is quite intriguing to me. I love seeing the bright colors against a gray background — I am making one right now and am totally excited about it. It was actually super fun shopping for the specific colors needed to make it.   • Cotton Way Classics, would be the new book I would pick. Super size patterns would make sewing easy and something you don’t see very often. I love the idea of showing off the patterns in a new way, without all the frustration I come upon when having to cut and sew smaller pieces. I love the patterns shown and all the bright colors would be great for summer. I would make the Poppies quilt first.
