—Barb Walsh on August 6, 2018
  • I think that I only have two fat quarter bundles, but far to many loose fat quarters to count. Let me just say that I have resisted pre-cuts for years and now that I’ve actually used some of the pre-cuts, I’m in love with them, and wished that I had tried them years ago and saved myself a ton of cutting. Never to old to learn a new trick (short cut). (: HAPPY – HAPPY

    Eilene on August 6, 2018

  • What is a fat quarter?

Hi Alicia! A Fat Quarter is a 1/4 yard piece of fabric, but instead of being cut from the bolt from selvedge to selvedge (44″ x 9″), it is cut in half lengthwise, and then in half width-wise resulting in a piece of fabric that is approximately 18″ x 22″. I hope this helps!

  • Waaay, waaay more than that!! For years, fat quarters was all I bought and many of them have a small piece cut out. But now is the time to use them up!

  • A few, probably less than 20. I’ve been working on whittling down the number but some FQs follow me home from the quilt store :).

  • I’m the fat quarter queen here. I have way too many to count. This book would be wonderful to fix that problem and then I could buy some more. Perfect.

  • I have more fat quarters than I want to admit to, I would love to do a bunch of the patterns in this book to help reduce the number of fat quarters in my stash

  • My husband buys me large groups of fat quarters as occasional surprises since I am homebound with an incurable illness. My stash was already huge before I became homebound but I really appreciate his thoughtfulness. All I need now is a great fat quarter quilt book!

—Carol Ann on August 12, 2018
  • Way more then I’ll ever admit to. This book is full of inspiration to use them up.
Then I can stock back up again! It’s an addiction!!

    —Caryn G on August 12, 2018
