Of her quilt, Adrienne says, “Not everyone has room for a towering noble fir Christmas tree in their home. This wall hanging doubles as a fresh take on holiday decor and as a place to gather presents (and your family) on Christmas morning. One year there was one for mom and dad, one for my sweet mother in law and one for a friends mother. This is the best Christmas book ever. I love every single pattern. That never happens in any pattern book.

    —Marsha on August 31, 2018

—Elizabeth Dyer on August 31, 2018
  • I usually sew for my granddaughters for their homes. Placemats, table runners and special things like that. Last Christmas I made a quilt and appliqued pillow for my Stepdaughter. I also made a x-mas bench pillow for my sister for her foyer in Colorado because I was spending Christmas with them. I spent Christmas the year before with my brother and his wife in Texas and made them a table runner with music note fabric because they are both in church choir. The gifts vary depending on the circumstances. I usually start right about now in my choices.

They all love the items I make and often put in request for items I make. I’ve started my list and plan to get started by the end of September. I’ve downloaded the Handmade Holiday gift list. It will make it easy to keep track of all my project. I’m making copies to take to my Friday Stitch & Gab group.
