  • My very first pattern I ever tried was a Log Cabin–found the two squares I made in bottom of a bag the other day. I’d love the Log Cabin book because it opened my eyes to the versatility and beauty of that one pattern.
My son is teaching 4/5 graders in his second year and they moved him into a brown portable he told me "looks like a log cabin, Mom" so I sent him pictures of log cabin quilts. I’d love to make him one to hang inside (or outside) his portable "log cabin."

Carolyn White on January 19, 2016
  • I have been slicing up my stash of scraps into strips lately and Sew, Slice, Spin and Sash would give me options beyond "another jelly roll quilt"!

—Susan Putman on January 19, 2016

  • I would absolutely love to get the "I Love Log Cabins" book as I have a large stash of cut strips ranging from 1-1/2″ up to 3-1/2″ just ready to delve into to make a long cabin quilt. This quilt has been on my "bucket list to make" for quite some time now and this book would push me over the edge to actually starting one. I am the kind of quilter that when I get so excited about making a specific quilt I can complete a queen or king size in a weekend! It’s time to pull those bins of strips out and start sewing!

    —Sue F on January 19, 2016
