It has really helped her out to know how long it has taken her to make a project, how she pieced a difficult block, how she improvised a binding with her leftover fabric, and so much more. Plus, it’s fun to read through and reminisce on all the projects you’ve done and the fun you had while making it. She also includes pictures of her projects once she’s finished! what a neat keepsake of her quilting and sewing hobby! 🙂

I love sketching out all of my ideas before I make them. I’ve been doing so for embroidery, sewing, and quilting for years; but I’ve only recently started working with a combination of wool felt and embroidery together. Also, I just love creating different color versions of designs to change the tone and mood of designs to create whole new versions. Doodling out new ideas is just as fun as the actuall stitching phase. Having a written record of ideas is absoluety priceless. 💕
