You’re loving the Moda All-Stars series of books so much, we went and did it again: we published book #4, and it’s available NOW!
In Moda All-Stars: Lucky Charm Quilts, you’ll find dazzling quilts from some of Moda’s most popular designers, all made with 5″ charm squares. Chapters are organized by how many charm packs to use:
ONE charm pack.
Just one charm pack is all it takes to make this pair of Forever Friends mini quilts by Lisa Bongean—one for you and one for a friend.
See 4 more quilts that use ONE charm pack >
TWO charm packs.
This Spring Mosaic quilt by Sandy Gervais reminds us of lemon, lime, and orange sherbet! You’ll use leftover charm squares to piece a pretty border.
See 5 more quilts that use TWO charm packs >
Or THREE charm packs!
Tire Tracks by Carrie Nelson and Tammy Vonderschmitt will put your (sewing-machine) pedal to the metal with quick piecing; faded red cross-weave cotton gives a soft texture to a solid color.
See 5 more quilts that use THREE charm packs >
We didn’t want to stifle creativity, so we asked the Moda All-Stars to follow just ONE rule: all designers had to use at least 80% of each charm pack in their project. They stuck to the rule beautifully!
Just like in all the Moda All-Stars books, there’s a special Q&A with each designer. In Lucky Charm Quilts, one question we asked was: “What charms you most about charm packs?”
Sherri McConnell of A Quilting Life said: “They’re a terrific way to sample every piece of a collection, and they’re perfect for scrap quilts!”
Jenny Doan of Missouri Star Quilt Co. said: “Convenience! I know if I want to make a baby quilt, I need one charm pack, two packs will make a crib quilt, three make a lap, and four will make a twin-size.”
Sandy Klop of American Jane said: “I don’t have to cut them. Such a time-saver!”
You’re sure to discover a love of charm packs just like the Moda All-Stars—or grow your love of them—with Lucky Charm Quilts at your side! Other all-star designers include:
What a star-studded lineup! See all the quilts (and which Moda All-Star made which quilt!) in this quick little video we made:
