Blog hop! Sew-sweet bird quilts from Erin Cox (+ giveaway!)

Welcome to our stop on the Sweet Tweets blog tour. If this is your first time visiting Stitch This!, welcome!

MartiA few weeks ago, Marti—Martingale’s mascot—sang the praises of the new book by popular quilt designer Erin Cox called Sweet Tweets. Since then, several fine birds in our office have been tweeting about their first experience with bird appliqué—and more specifically, free-motion appliqué!

Speaking of singing praises: Sweet Tweets is the new book that everyone is chirping about. As soon as the book was released, it flew to the #1 spot in the Patchwork category at Amazon, and has skyrocketed to best-seller status at our site too. Sweet Tweets is also a Quilty Box book selection of the month and the book of the month at Fat Quarter Shop. There’s no telling how high it will fly!

Martingale staffers quickly made Sweet Tweets a favorite in the office too. We recently tried out Erin’s techniques and shared our experience on Instagram:
