  • Suppose you’ve knitted a sweater and decide to make another. Be sure to do a swatch even if you’re using the same brand and type but choosing a different colour. Yarns are affected by the dyes and may knit (I assume crochet, too) larger or smaller than the original you liked.

  • Best tip ever: find a top-down pattern. This way, sweater can be custom fit over large bustline without pooching around sleeve edges.
