Staff Stitch + Show: kids and baby gifts we’ve made!

Staff Stitch and Show

It’s baby season, and we’ve been inspired to make gifts for staff kiddos, from growing grandchildren to new arrivals. Here are some of the knit and crocheted gifts recently stitched by our staff for special little ones!

P.S. Guess who’s next on our list? Tiffany, copy editor, is due in August—congratulations, Tiffany! We can’t wait to make you something special.

  • Usually I make hats and scarves. The girls love their scarves and the boy like any hat around!

  • At sew expo you had a really cute pink and green bag for a featherweight sewing machine and I am kicking myself for not getting it. How can I purchase one of those? The sew expo in puyallup washington.

    Hi Jana,
I’m sorry, but we don’t have our own booth at Expo and do not have a featherweight bag pattern in any of our books. Sorry not to be of any help!

  • Afghans are my number1 choice to knit for babies! I have knitted at least 50, including very large ones for my very tall husband. I sold a few but most were given away as gifts. Just presented one today to a 3 week-old and his parents. And have another in the works for a baby due in May.
