Martingale's Quirky Question

Thanks for stopping by for the weekly Quirky Question—where questions are just for fun, your answers are always welcome, and you could win an eBook for free!

Whirling Fans quiltLeft: “Whirling Fans” from Treasures from the ’30s by Nancy Mahoney. See a slideshow of quilts from the book below.

Quilting is fun, no matter how you do it. But many quilters would agree that quilting reaches its pinnacle of fun when shared. Sometimes we sit in a room together, bee-style, and stitch the day away. And sometimes, from all around the globe online, we share our inspirations, our challenges, and our best online discoveries right here on this blog! Share your latest love with fellow stitchers by answering this week’s question:

What’s your favorite quilt blog (besides Stitch This!, of course!), and why do you love it so?

Post your answer in the comments before noon (PST) on Monday, July 1, for your chance to win. The winning answer will be posted on Wednesday, July 3, along with the next question. (Knitters, crocheters, and other crafters, answer with your own medium in mind!)

Last week’s Quirky Question was, “What’s been your greatest quilting triumph ever?” Here’s the winning comment:

“My brother has held a musicfest for 22 years. When it was the 20th year, I made a quilt from the front and backs of 20 years of t-shirts (collected from family, and even stolen from his shirt drawer!). I gave it to him and he was actually speechless! He is a stern, hard-working biker and he still says it is his favorite gift ever.”

Last week’s winning comment was written by Cathy. Congratulations, Cathy—look for an email about your free eBook.
