Martingale's Quirky Question

Thanks for joining us for our weekly Quirky Question—where the question’s just for fun, your answer’s always welcome, and you could win an eBook for free!

Everyone has something—a unique gift, a talent, an ability—that they do exceptionally well. Wouldn’t you agree? (C’mon, no need to be modest. We’ve all got a special knack for something!) And then there are those things we wish we could do well. Which leads to this week’s question, from Durby’s quirky-question vault:

If you could wake up tomorrow morning with any talent you wish, which talent would you wish for and why?

Post your answer in the comments anytime before noon (PST) on Monday, October 1, for your chance to win. The winning comment will be posted on Wednesday, October 3, along with the next question.

Last week’s question was, “If someone wrote a book about your life, what would the title of that book be?” If you need to laugh, cry, or be inspired today, read some of the 200+ responses to last week’s question. We couldn’t help but assign a few honorable mentions (okay, a dozen):

  • Jack of All Trades, Master of None by TJ
  • Don’t Make Me Go to Town by Ranch Wife
  • She Came, She Saw, She Quilted by Barbara G.
  • If It Wasn’t for the Last Minute, Nothing Would Get Done by Nancy B.
  • How to Survive Eight Marriages by Phyllis T.
  • What to Do When Your Life is a Country Song but You’re Tone Deaf by Pat
  • Warning! Crafty Woman on the Loose! by Debbie C.
  • Never-Say-No Linda (and Other Things I’ve Been Called) by Linda
  • I’ll Worry About It Tomorrow by Barbara
  • You Should Have Been on Oprah by Colette
  • Quilting in Las Vegas: The Seamy Side of Life by Robyn
  • Cats, Quilts and Mustangs: Too Many of All of Them by Tammy

Here’s last week’s winning response:
