Martingale's Quirky Question

Thanks for stopping by for the weekly Quirky Question—where questions are just for fun, your answers are always welcome, and you could win an eBook for free!

Quilting for Joy

See a slideshow of quilts from the eBook Quilting for Joy by Barbara Brandeburg and Teri Christopherson below.

Just like quilting, life is full of clever tweaks, daring transformations, and completely new inventions. It’s these ongoing renovations that make us—and our quilts—one-of-a-kind. In today’s Quirky Question, share a story about something that makes you… you!

What’s one unique thing about you?

Post your answer in the comments before noon (PST) on Monday, August 5, for your chance to win. The winning answer will be posted on Wednesday, August 7, along with the next question.

Last week’s Quirky Question was, “If your family and friends had to describe you and your relationship to fabric, what would they say?” Here’s the winning comment:

“I have heard them all. ‘She is a fabrialcoholic!,’ ‘She is trying to start her own quilt shop!,’ ‘She is out of control!,’ ‘She has more fabric than she could ever sew!’ The eyes roll, the jaws drop open, and they just stare in disbelief. But my favorite came from my granddaughter: ‘Oh, this is beautiful, it’s like a rainbow!’ Now I really know who will inherit my stash.”

Last week’s winning comment was written by Cathy. Congratulations, Cathy—look for an email about your free eBook.
