Stitch This! readership has been growing so quickly that our email provider has temporarily interrupted our service to make upgrades. (What a fabulous problem to have—thank you!) Unfortunately, the interruption means that you may receive two emails on the same day this week. Please accept our apologies—we should be back to our normal email schedule within a day or two.

Thanks for joining us for our weekly Quirky Question—where the question’s just for fun, your answer’s always welcome, and you could win an eBook for free!

This week’s new Quirky Question

Speaking of stash, what sort of treasures did you collect in your childhood stash?

Post your answer in the comments anytime before noon (PST) Monday, July 30, for your chance to win. We’ll post the winning response Wednesday, August 1, along with the next question. We look forward to reading your answer!

Last week’s Quirky Question was, “What’s the best thing about being able to say those three little words: “I’m a quilter” (or “I’m a knitter” or “I’m a crocheter”)?” Your answers spoke volumes about the joys of being an artist, giving to others, finding friendship, learning and growing, connecting with previous generations, and leaving a legacy.

And now, here’s last week’s winning response!

The best thing about being a quilter is knowing the gifts I have made for someone are being loved for a long time. It is amazing to see the quilts I made for baby gifts have gone to college with the recipients! How many other gifts are remembered once the thank you note has been written…

Last week’s winning response was sent to us by Melissa E. Congratulations, Melissa! We’ve emailed you instructions on how to redeem your gift.
