Thanks for stopping by for the weekly Quirky Question—where questions are just for fun, your answers are always welcome, and you could win an eBook for free!
Right: Quilts from Aunt Amy by Country Threads (eBook only). See a slideshow of quilts from the book below.
On a quilter’s best day, she’s in the zone—energized, inspired, focused, and completely feeling the groove. Don’t we all love it when she arrives? Reward her with a name in today’s question:
If you had to give your quilty personality a name, what would you call yourself?
Post your answer in the comments before noon (PST) on Monday, September 30, for your chance to win. The winning answer will be posted on Wednesday, October 2, along with the next question.
Last week’s Quirky Question was, “What’s the best thing you’ve ever stitched…for yourself?” Here’s the winning comment, from Mary:
“The best thing I ever made for myself is a ‘Sister’s Quilt.’ Having two sisters who quilt, we are always ‘giving’ things away and not to each other. Several years ago we started making sister quilts that are just alike whenever we get together. (We all live very far apart.) When we need to re-feel the warmth of that meeting time, we could wrap up in one or all of the quilts. Guess what—these quilts manage to stay in our respective homes and not be given away.”
Congratulations, Mary—look for an email about your free eBook.
