Martingale's Quirky Question

Thanks for stopping by for the weekly Quirky Question—where questions are just for fun, your answers are always welcome, and you might win an eBook for free!

Birdhouses of Key West quilt(Left: “Birdhouses of Key West” by Cynthia LeBlanc Regone. All ePatterns just $1 through March 25.)

Do you typically quilt alone? Solitary creativity gets the job done, and time to yourself can feel like a wonderful retreat. But when you share quilting with a friend, a spark can ignite. With the right partner in crime, something magical happens that makes creativity time all the more enjoyable. And that magic leads to this week’s question:

If you could persuade one person in your life to try quilting, who would it be—and why would you want them to catch the bug?

Post your answer in the comments before noon (PST) on Monday, March 25, for your chance to win. The winning comment will be posted on Wednesday, March 27, along with the next question. (Knitters, crocheters, and other crafters, answer with your favorite hobby in mind!)

Last week’s Quirky Question was, “What’s the best thing—and worst thing—about being an Internet-savvy quilter?” Here’s the winning response:

“The best and worst part of the Internet is all the amazing inspiration—I’m so driven to go make something, once I see all the wonderful things other people are doing. The downside—I’ll never live long enough to get all these ideas out of my head and into quilts! :)”

Last week’s winning comment was written by Trish. Congratulations, Trish—look for an email about your free eBook.
