Quirky Question

Thanks for joining us for our weekly Quirky Question—where the question’s just for fun, your answer’s always welcome, and you could win an eBook for free!

Last week’s Quirky Question was, “When packing for a quilting (knitting/crochet) retreat/bee/gathering, have you ever forgotten something important, and if not, how do you remember everything?” What funny adventures you shared! Forgotten items included everything from suitcases to foot pedals, power cords, cutting mats, fabric, bedding, and sewing machines. Solutions included shopping on the spot, driving back home, having husbands come to the rescue—and making lists the next time.

And now, here’s the winning response and next Quirky Question!

Winning response

I was so excited to get to our annual retreat, I forgot to pick up my friend! I never did explain to her why I was "a little late" getting to her place!!!!

Last week’s winning response was sent to us by Karen. Congratulations, Karen! We’ve emailed you instructions on how to redeem your gift.

This week’s new Quirky Question

If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, who have you flattered with one of your projects?

Post your answer in the comments anytime before noon (PST) Monday, June 4, for your chance to win. We’ll post the winning response Wednesday, June 6, along with the next question. We look forward to reading your answer!
