None of them are calling to me because I don’t crochet. However, the Knit Bright book reminds me when I worked for a Georgia Insurance Company years ago, we had a telephone operator who sat for endless of hours rotating calls to various departments and crocheting adult covering the ankle booties at the same time. She sold them for $2.00 a pair and I had purchased several pairs in various colors to match my outfits. It wasn’t uncommon to see well-dressed women wearing business attire suits with matching booties in all the departments. When the price of yarn went up, so did our booty cost, but regardless they were well worth the price and they made great gifts too!
